"Had to wait a bit for a response"
I eventually got a reply, but it took longer than I expected and the waiting was a little frustrating. The answer itself was okay once it came through.

"I ordered a part from carquest.com..."
I ordered a part from carquest.com and, to be fair, it did show up and the part itself was in good shape. The only downside was that it arrived a couple days later than the date I was originally given, and the tracking updates were slow, which made it hard to know what was going on. I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience, but the delivery side could definitely be a bit more reliable...

"Starter worked fine, but the return part was annoying"
I ordered a starter and got it installed without much trouble, so that part was fine. Shipping was decent and the item did what it was supposed to do. The only thing that ended up being a pain was the core charge situation. I sent the old core back like they asked, but the refund didn’t just happen on its own. I had to follow up to get it sorted out. Support was polite enough, but it took longer than it should have

I found the brake pads I needed for less here than on a couple of other sites, which was a nice surprise. Shipping was fair too, because that can ruin a “good deal” real quick. Everything turned out fine, no complaints from me, and I’d use carquest again.

For what I needed, this worked out great. The site said the part was in stock, and when I got there, it actually was. That might not sound like a big deal, but with parts it can be hit or miss, so I appreciated the inventory being accurate

ordered brake pads online and picked them up at my local carquest. they had everything ready the same day, and the guy at the counter found my order fast. i did wait a few minutes while they helped another customer, but it wasn’t a big deal. the parts were the right ones and the price was the same as what I saw online

"Pretty easy getting the parts"
I used the carquest site and it was easy, like not a big hassle thing. I put in my car, found the brake pads I needed quick, and checkout went through fine without being weird. Much better than me calling a bunch of places and trying to explain what I need.

"Ordering was fine, but felt impersonal"
I found the part easily, so that part was okay, but checkout was slower than I expected. The shipping updates also came later than they should have, which was a little frustrating. What bothered me most was that there didn’t seem to be any real human contact anywhere in the process, just automated messages and waiting around. I did get my order in the end, so it wasn’t terrible, but the whole thing could’ve been smoother.

"Quick mix-up, quick fix"
My first thought when the wrong part showed up was, “Well, here we go.” But support handled it way better than I expected. They sent the right part out fast, didn’t make it a hassle, and even refunded the shipping. Easy snap judgment here: they messed up, but they fixed it right

I reached out for help with my commercial account and they did eventually get things sorted, but the experience was kind of hit or miss. Some replies were helpful, while others took longer than I expected. Not terrible, just not as smooth as I hoped.

"Good quality parts, but shipping wasn’t perfect"
I ordered some brake pads and a filter from carquest.com, and overall the parts seem solid. The packaging was decent and everything fit the way it was supposed to, which is always a relief when you’re doing the work yourself.
I do think the shipping could’ve been a little faster, and the box looked a bit beat up when it arrived, but nothing was damaged. I’ve bought cheaper parts before that felt questionable, and these definitely seem better. The car feels smoother now, so I’m mostly happy with the purchase.

I accidentally ordered the wrong part from carquest.com, which was totally on me and frustrating. I was expecting the return to be a hassle, but it actually went really smoothly. The guy at the store helped me out without making me feel dumb about it, and the refund showed up just a few days later. "Staff Had No Idea What They Were Doing"
I went on carquest.com trying to track down the right part and asked for some help, but the staff seemed like they had absolutely no clue. I got different answers depending on who I talked to, and somehow I still ended up with the wrong item. It seriously felt like I was annoying them just by asking basic questions. I’m no expert, but I’m 100% sure expecting basic car part knowledge from a parts store isn’t asking too much.
